Period pains before period?

Hey girls quick question really im 18 years old and i am due on my period soon within the next week or so.. but today i woke up feeling really tired..back ache and period pains too but i have not came on.. i was just wondering if it is normall to get period pains before your period??.. i normally get them just after i have got my period for 4days then they stop?... any help would be good.. thankyou for taking the time to read my question xxx
