I say you leave your hair natural when you wash it let it air dry and put a little bit of moose on it to give it style but that way when you get wet your hair won't look all over the place and it will just look like beach waves. For your makeup just use a sunscreen and put a little bit of loose powder to give an even skin tone and wear some waterproof mascara to define your eyes and you can put some shimmery coral blush color to brighten your face. As for the jumpsuit maybe folding it wouldn't be such a good idea I'd go with wearing shorts or a cute summer dress. I am petite as well and the advantages are that you look more feminine, it's easier to wear heels you don't have to worry if they make you look like a giant, and guys will always be taller than you and they can easily give you a piggy back ride or carry you.
