A self-composed short detective/ghost story..guys please help ! it should be short and self composed.?

The basic for this kind of story is focused in three different points. The first being location, the most likely place are mansions, castles, or battlefields. This is important because of the second point you will need place of history. Where you have something for the person to investigate, because the chaos the lost soul is causing. The last point is what story sort of plot do you want. There are two very possible choices. One a tragic love story where a dead woman is longing for her lost love. The other possibility is to find out how everyone died in the mansions, and the wandering souls would be your key source of information.
