Is it concern to use gas cooling system in thermal powerplant?which gases should be used?

Some thermal power plants cool the condenser with water: Others use a cooling tower = water spray and air = 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, 0.8% argon. Is that what you want to know? The cooling towers are likely better long term as they require less maintenance. Neil
